You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a purchase.
A throne is a symbolic promotional placement in ThroneMap's private digital registry — it is not ownership of a country, not a financial product, and not an investment. A Standard Throne can be taken over by another user for exactly twice the current price; the previous holder does not receive that payment. A Permanent Throne cannot be taken over, but remains subject to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, lawful removal, technical availability, and the operating life of ThroneMap — "permanent" does not mean literally perpetual regardless of circumstances.
Prices are shown before payment in your selected currency. Payment is processed by Stripe; ThroneMap does not store your full card details. By completing checkout you authorize the exact amount shown.
Purchasing a throne does not transfer, license, or represent any real-world right in the named country or territory, and does not create an investment, security, or right to profit.
Your placement begins immediately after successful payment. A Standard Throne ends when another user completes a valid takeover, when it is removed under section 9, or if the service ends.
You confirm that the name, link, and any logo you submit do not infringe another party's trademark, copyright, or rights of privacy/publicity, and are not used to impersonate any person, brand, or government entity.
Prohibited content and conduct are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may reject, suspend, or remove a throne that breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, following the process described on our Content & Rights Complaint page where applicable. We will normally give notice and an opportunity to appeal, except where immediate action is required for legal or safety reasons.

We aim to keep ThroneMap available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. If the service closes or materially changes, we will give reasonable notice where possible; section 3 explains how this affects Permanent Thrones.
You grant ThroneMap a limited license to publicly display the name, link, and logo you submit for as long as your throne is active. ThroneMap and its branding remain our property.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
The governing law for these Terms has not yet been finalized by the site operator; mandatory consumer-protection rights available under your own country's law are unaffected regardless.
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
